Super Star Rajinikanth married Latha Rangachari who was then a student of Ethiraj College for Women. The marriage took place on 26th of February 1981 in Tirupath in Andha Pradesh. The couple have two daughters named Aishwarya Rajinikanth and Soundarya Rajinikanth. His wife, Latha Rajinikanth runs a school named "The Ashram". Super Star Rajinikanth's elder daughter, Aishwarya married actor Dhanush on 18 November 2004 and they have two sons named Yathra and Linga. Rajinikanth's younger daughter Soundarya is a film director and is also a director, producer and graphic designer. Soundarya got married to industrialist Ashwin Ramkumar on 3rd of September 2010.
